Perhaps the most horrifying of all zombie types are zombie babies. Look at the recent Dawn of the Dead remake. The scene of the newly born zombie baby still haunts my nightmares. No doubt, when the floods hit and the zombies rise, among them will be a few infants.

Naturally, when I found out about the Abomination Nursery, I felt a mixture of disgust and interest. The Abomination Nursery is the brain child of artist Armgardt Richter Rose. He takes baby doll parts and does cruel and terrible things with these parts until he has an uncomfortably realistic artistic rendering of a zombie baby.

Armgardt will be a vendor at The New Jersey Zombie Walk. Buy five babies and do the following with them:

1) Take one to work and place it in a prominent place in your office.
2) Mail one to your in-laws for Christmas.
3) Take it with you to the bank, place it on the counter, and say “We would like to make a deposit.”
4) Slip one in your spouse’s underwear drawer. Talk about a bloomer surprise!
5) Carry it with you to jury duty. It’s like a Get Out of Jury Duty Free card.
