The Zombie Feed Anthology Table of Contents

After long last, I am ready to announce the table of contents for the first The Zombie Feed anthology!

Drum roll please!

Table of Contents (this is not the final order)
  • Cold Comfort by Nathaniel Tapley
  • This Final December Day by Lee Thompson
  • What’s Next? by Elaine Blose
  • Rabid Raccoons by Kristin Dearborn
  • The Twenty-Three Second Anomaly by Ray Wallace
  • Not Dead by BJ Burrow
  • Tomorrow’s Precious Lambs by Monica Valentinelli
  • The Fare by Lucien Soulban
  • A Shepherd of the Valley by Maggie Jamison
  • Broken Bough by Daniel I. Russell
  • The Last Generation by Joe Nazare
  • Goddamn Electric by Ken Wood
  • Hipsters in Love by Danger Slater
  • The Sickness unto Death by Brandon Alspaugh
  • Lifeboat by Simon McCaffrey
  • The title of the anthology will be simply The Zombie Feed: Volume I. I hope this one does well as I’d like to do a series of these.

The cover art (attached to the post) is by Michael Bielaczyc of Aradani Studios. I should have a final jacket design in the next few days as contracts are finalized with the authors.

The anthology is approximately 72,000 words. I’m still deciding if I want to pen a story for the anthology or just stick to writing the introduction. :) Regardless of what I decide, my own inclusion does not mean the exclusion of somebody else.

There were a total of 263 stories submitted. Fifteen stories were chosen. Four female authors out of the fifteen. I think this is the lowest ratio of women to men I’ve ever had in one of my books. Ratio of submissions were 2:1 in favor of males.

Release date for The Zombie Feed: Volume I? ASAP. If I had to guess, late February.

If you sent a story for the anthology, thank you. If you didn’t, why not?

    Congratulations to those accepted!
